Extremely tame parrot. I have a lot of experience with raising birds. No biting, no anger, no anxiety or fear, very tame parrot, 2 months old, sitting on stick since 1 week, he looks healthy and happy. Sometimes if he has to poop he asks for going to his cage and poops in his cage then, and wants to leave his cage after that. video 2.00-28 june 09 Zeer tamme edelpapegaai, opgevoed op de juiste manier. Hij is al redelijk zindelijk en maakt duidelijk als ie een poepje moet doen en nadat je hem in de kooi hebt gezet doet ie een poepje en wil daarna weer uit de kooi. Zit sinds 1 week graag op een stok. Eet of knabbelt gierst sinds 2 dagen. 222 Mb Uploadtijd 1 uur. @Zeegoner join a parrot forum and learn techniques to build a happy relationship, or Google parrot behaviour and training. Under no circumstances listen to this nut-job who is telling you to hit the bird. I am telling you right now that is NOT the right way to go about it. Good luck!

…you are honestly giving advice over YouTube to HIT your parrots?! …are you fucking crazy?! And to say that 5 week olds can never become tame if they are biters… are you retarded? I got my parrot at 20 weeks and he was a hellish parrot. After a few weeks (without hitting) it is tame as any parrot I’ve seen.

Hitting is NOT the right way to tame a parrot – shame on you for giving such terrible advice, i only hopee nobody takes it on board.

5 week olds can be real biters and never become tame. To get a parrot older than 10 weeks very tame, you must be lucky than, or try visiting a parrot trainer for correcting behaviour.

I am glad I did it. Just a little hit. It´s not the pain of the little hit he gets scared of, but the doesnt want the good relationship with the one that feeds him to be disturbed. If you care very well for him and give him good food and do the best for your bird, he wants to continiue that and not wants that you dont like him, so he corrects his behaviour

mine did too, the breeder told me very clear looling straight into my eyes to hit the bird when it bites, it was hard to hit such a young bird, but i decided to do it, I thought he would come afraid of me and become an agrassive bird, but he became very tame,

with all my hands on experience i would sell it and get a younger one as taming at a later age is very hard or to gain its trust when its biting you is not common. soz if this is bad news :(
