oh my gosh! I have a female eclectus and she does the exact same thing! She says “Hey pretty girl”, “watcha doin”, mimics the sound of tongue clicking, and laughs

i have 1 of each “african grey (congo) and a female eclectus (grand)” and the eclectus has never plucked her feathers and loves making her own “songs”. on the other hand, the african grey is copying more sounds and words than the eclectus but he mostly just screams like a smoke detector and messes his feathers up. my whole family gave him the nickname “butthead” lol

Electus seem awesome. Beautiful, relatively quiet, somewhat independant, great talkers etc.
Any tips? I’m doing a ton of reading about the bird, but if you have any advice on keeping them so healthy and feathered like your girl it would be appreciated. Thanks

She is really pretty. I have been considering housing a parrot. Either a Electus or an African Grey.
Have you had any plucking issues? All the plucking stories are scarey. She looks great and at 7 years old if no plucking has happened it probably never will, encouraging.
