Ruby trying to Sing

This is my beautiful little girl Ruby, an Eclectus Parrot that I’d had since she was 12 weeks old and almost 10 years. Ruby was such a loving, gentle, funny and intelligent creature that everyone who met her also fell in love with her. She died on Thursday, 24th September of a heart attack caused by what we believe was Yolk Peritonitis and I miss her terribly. This is a short video I filmed one night after she’d been trying to sing along to music I’d been playing. Alxx

It is our great pleasure to introduce that truly remarkable parrot, definitely ready for Primetime, the Eclectus parrot Sam I Am! Sam is visiting The Ballard Rain Forest while his dad recuperates from surgery. We have known Sam for years, so it was a great pleasure and total surprise to discover his talent for singing.
