This is from last year, my eclectus parrot Angel is a lot clearer now and getting cognitive but still thought it would be interested to show this old clip that my husband took.

Why my eclectus parrot only talks while alone?

ive had my male ECLECTUS parrot CHICO for approx 5 months & he didnt speak a word & now he never stops talking! but only when he is alone…
i have to stand outside the room & listen & smile as the sheer joy of him repeating words & phrases that ive tought him over the few months that ive had him! but id like some 1 on 1 talking sessions.. he will make silly noises when im in the room but no words..
is there anything to help this or will he talk with me when he is ready & not before?
im afraid of him thinking that this is right & then he might stick to this routine…
