Thinking of Getting an Eclectus… OK, so I’ve been doing my research and I’ve been thinking of getting an Eclectus. I’ve had some experience with birds before (i’ve owned budgies and cockateils, work at a petstore with conures and parrotlets) and my mom (who’s owned an African Grey) will be around to help. If I get one I won’t be getting him until the end of summer so I won’t be going on any vacations when I first get him. I know they take a lot of time and I’m willing to spend 4 or more hours a day with him. I also know they have special diet requirements. I was just wondering what supplies are necessary for an Eclectus and what would a daily diet for one consist of?  |
