The manager of shipping at Amazon.com needs to be fired. This is the second time I have ordered something only to recieve it in packaging that did not protect the contents. I was lucky in that there were only a few scratches. The way the box (and that is being kind) came, it should have been bent to all hell and back. As far as the stand goes, it is great. It puts together really easily and is a perfect height. Then again, I am 6′ 3″ tall. The stand is very sturdy and holds the cage well. The only drawback to the stand is that you have to be carefull with the wrench provided otherwise you will scratch it more than Amazon’s poor packageing will do.

First of all, the company who sent this did a very poor job of packing it. The parts were shoved between two pieces of cardboard with the ends taped shut. No packing materials were used between the components and the metal on one whole side was deeply scratched and gouged. I had to turn that part to the wall!
The stand was easy to assemble. The Marchioro cage I bought to use with it fit fine, but the front bar of the stand is somewhat warped. Also, I wish the stand could be lowered because, even on my tiptoes, it’s nearly impossible for me to reach two corners of the cage pan for cleaning from the top door of the cage.
